Pony of the Americas ~ Rocky, Champion Connemara Stallion

The Connemara Stallion Custusha's Cashel Rock (aka "Rocky") was a sooty buckskin Connemara Stallion.  Rocky was a beloved Connemara shown in the US, with a long list of awards, including championships in Halter, Hunter, Jumper, and Dressage.  When he retired from showing, a ceremony was held for him at the West Coast Connemara Show in 1993, attended by his fans from around the country.

Breyer honored this equine athlete with a portrait model on the Pony of the Americas mold.  He shows off his solid, sooty coloring, and was available from 1990-1992.

This fellow is Factory Mint and one of the darkest we've seen, with beautiful sooty shading.
