This adorable flocked Rearing Arabian was a Special Run for BreyerFest 2001, and is one of very few Breyer OF flocky releases. He is done as a chestnut pinto Pintabian with a blaze. He was originally sold as a set with an also-flocked Cantering Foal. Known simply as "Flocky Set 2," only 650 sets were made.
This fellow is Near Mint with mild age yellowing of his flocking glue as is normal after this many years, and lightly flocked mane tips. He features neatly stenciled markings and just a hint of muzzle pinking. He is from the collection of Linda Dean, who showed him as W-A-V Painted Velvet.
Flocky notes: Flockies are sensitive to both heat and pressure. We will wrap and pack them as carefully as possible, but during transit there's always a chance that pressure marks may develop in the flocking, despite our efforts. With your purchase, you agree that you understand that and won't hold us responsible if it occurs in shipment. Also, we strongly recommend NOT having us ship when temps are above 75F between Maine and your location. If you purchase him during the warm season, we recommend placing your order in our Hold Your Horses Program so that he stays here until temps are cooler for transport.
Final photo showing him with the foal is for reference only. His little friend is available separately here until adopted.
