Breyer has only flocked a handful of models through the decades, and this is one of the neatest. She's also Breyer's only Traditional scale rocking horse. She was only produced from 1985-1987, and came in a special display box. During that time, a couple of details changed, giving us several variations: Her rockers could either be yellow or dark brown, and her glass eyes could be brown or blue. They are highly sought after today.
She is the version with brown eyes and dark brown rockers. She is in Near Mint condition with tiny eartip rubs, a few spots of age yellowing in her socks, and some mottled coloring on her saddle, which could be original (they didn't pick top quality leather for these). She is complete with her leather saddle, reins, and removable brown rockers. She comes from the herd of Linda Dean.
Flocky notes: Flockies are sensitive to both heat and pressure. We will wrap and pack them as carefully as possible, but during transit there's always a chance that pressure marks may develop in the flocking, despite our efforts. With your purchase, you agree that you understand that and won't hold us responsible if it occurs in shipment. Also, we strongly recommend NOT having us ship when temps are above 75F between Maine and your location. If you purchase her during the warm season, we recommend placing your order in our Hold Your Horses Program so that she stays here until temps are cooler for transport.
