Stock Horse Stallion ~ Guy McLean's Nugget

One of the world's best-known horse trainers and clinicians, Guy McLean has had more than one horse immortalized by Breyer.  This fellow is where it all started, though!  Nugget was born in the Australian bush, a handsome dun Australian Stock Horse stallion, who became Guy's lifelong partner.  Guy's entertaining career began when his father asked him to recite the poem "Man From Snowy River" to a group of travel agents that were going to be dining at their restaurant.  Guy agreed, but only if he could do it on horseback, and so he rode the stallion Nugget into the restaurant saddle-less and bridle-less and recited the hour-long poem to the amazed guests.  He and Nugget were inseparable after that, touring the country, helping others learn to understand their horses and build similar relationships.

He was also the first of Guy's horses to be honored with a portrait model.  He was produced on the Stock Horse Stallion mold only from 2012-2014, showing Nuggets beautiful coloring, including his shaded mane, dorsal stripe and leg barring.

This fellow is Factory Mint and lovely!  He has a couple of pinpoint specks in his finish as always.  He is one of the darkest we've seen on this release, with his pretty mane shading providing depth to this handsome boy.
