The Tennessee Walking Horse debuted in 1972 as a portrait of the famous stallion Midnight Sun. In this release he is done in a light dappled rose grey with chestnut points, a dark mane and tail, a low stripe and grey muzzle shading. He has dark red-on-white ribbons and hand-painted tri-color eyes. This was the Limited Edition for 1998, limited to 10,000 pieces.
This fellow is Near Mint with a couple of pinpoint eartip rubs, and a pinpoint speck of mane paint on his right back. He features the most chestnut shading I've seen on this release, which gives him a lot of color depth, and bright whites. He is the very low serial number #00346 / 10,000. He stands well, but this mold is notoriously tippy, so we recommend Museum Putty or a Horse Safety Rack to keep him safely upright.
