Okay, seriously, this is the most amazing color for this mold! It's even more gorgeous in person than in photos. Pangare is a primitive coloring, often seen in Przewalski's Horses, Exmoors, and other ancient breeds. It consists of a brown or tan body color that lightens considerably at the flanks and belly to a tawny hue. This provides better camouflage in wild environments. This Tennessee Walking Horse wears it beautifully in this Special Run made for JC Penney in 1996 as part of their Gaited Breeds of America set.. Only 6000 were produced and you rarely see one for sale.
This fellow is Near Mint with a hairline black mark on his left barrel and a couple of pinpoint black marks on his right barrel. He is absolutely beautiful, with his blended shading and tawny belly mirrored in his leg coloring. He stands well, but since this mold is notoriously tippy, we recommend Museum Putty or a Horse Safety Rack to keep him safely upright.
