Lightning is an adorable grey Leopard Appaloosa horse Beanie Baby, made in 2002. He has a white faux hair mane and tail and blue eyes.
This sweet little guy is Factory Mint, never played with, and still wears his original hang tag, giving his birth date as March 27, 2002, and his butt tag with holographic mark. His fur is interesting: Looking straight into it, it has a cream color, but when seen from an angle, it's pure white, so it's not aging, but just a factor of the material used. He features soft grey Leopard spots and blue eyes.
