Molokai is a Cinderella story for horse lovers. Born to be a racing Thoroughbred, he was built narrow and often stepped on himself. He had scars inside his fetlocks from walking circles in his stall, but Dorothy Crowell loved his personality and together they worked hard as a team, becoming stars in the eventing world. Their crowning achievement was a Silver medal at the 1994 World Equestrian Games. Mo and Dorothy were so popular with crowds around the world that their photo was featured on the cover of Wheaties cereal boxes. When he was done competing, Mo enjoyed a long, well-deserved retirement at Dorothy's farm, living to the age of 30. Mo and Dorothy were the featured guests at Breyerfest 1999.
This Collector's Card featuring Molokai was only available to attendees at BreyerFest 1999, and it's bigger than most: It's about postcard sized and features a full-color image of the bay eventer on the front. The reverse has his biographical info.
It is Near Mint with slight age yellowing on the back.
