"Riddle Passing Through Time" was a one-of-a-kind series for Breyer. It depicts an Appaloosa at three phases of his life, starting as a bay with a blanket and gradually roaning out as he matures. Only 3800 were made of each phase. They were available in 1995 only.
This fellow is still attached in his original box. The plastic box front has yellowed with age, so we slid it off to take better pictures of the horse for you. Horse features whites as bright as the day he was born, stripey mane, and light grey shading on his face that almost reaches his eyes. He tips forward in his box, so we'll be adding some bubble wrap inside to keep his still for the ride.
