This gentle fellow is one of Chris Hess's most iconic sculpts.  The Old Timer rests with one foot cocked after his day's work is done, waiting to be unharnessed.  The dapple grey color on this mold was produced from 1966-1987, but saw changes over the years, including harness color, size of dapples, and finishes.  Early models were glossy, while later ones were made in semi-gloss or matte finishes.

This fellow is Near Mint with the only rubs seen being a couple of tiny hoof edge ones!  He has a somewhat uneven semigloss finish, with a duller area on the top of his rump and a some bits of overspray and a tiny smudge of harness paint in that area.  He also shows some faint factory overspray of a chestnut color on his right front cannon, as if he was drying next to a brown horse that was being painted too nearby.  It's under the finish, so definitely factory, and only noticeable on close inspection.  He also shows some minor tarnishing of his metallic gold harness hardware as usual, and someone put his hat on tightly... So tightly that we're not going to try to remove it for fear of creating ear rubs.  He's a neat guy, with tons of the tiny dapples, many are closer to today's roan dappling in size, but that wasn't a thing back then, so he's kind of neat having such tiny dapples.  He's a B-stamp model.
