Saddlebred Stallion, 1988 Chestnut Pinto - JCP SR (body) (sale for charity)

This dark chestnut pinto was only sold as part of a set from JC Penney in their holiday catalog of 1988.  This was the very first Little Bits set JC Penney ran.  He wears a splash overo coat with four white legs and a narrow star.

He is in Body condition with no rubs or marks seen.  However, he is a shrinky, which is why his whites have developed a yellow-greyish coloring as they've gotten more dense.  He's only slightly shorter than his brothers, but may shrink further while wrapped here, waiting to be adopted.  Like most on this mold, he is very tippy and likely to get more tippy over time, so we recommend using something like Museum Putty to help keep him safely upright.  He features a narrow star and pink hooves.  He's a neat piece to have in your collection, showing both the positives and the challenges of production at that time.  He could also be customized.
