One of the earliest in Breyer's stable, the black pinto Western Pony was only made from 1956-1976.  He came with a black snap-cinch saddle until 1967, and then was swapped to a grey slip-on one.  Three variations have been found, having to do with the white spot on his right shoulder.  Some have it positioned high, some have it low (touching his forearm), and at least a few have no spot there at all.

This fellow is the missing spot variation.  He is Excellent condition with a stripe of missing paint down his left hind leg being his biggest issue.  He has a small rub on his tail tip, tiny hoof and ear edge rubs, a few tiny rubs inside his legs, one on the dock of his tail, and  slight yellowing, which you can correct with a few days of sunbathing.  The paint on his molded-on tack is almost 100% intact, and he comes with both his chain reins and slip-on saddle.  His saddle dates him to 1968-1976.   His photo is included on identifyyourbreyer.com as a reference for this variation.
