Calf, Holstein - Flocked Custom

This Breyer Calf has been flocked to match her original coat pattern.  We estimate she's at least 15 years old and possibly far older, so she may have been flocked by one of the well-known artists of her time.

She is rated as Very Good to Excellent condition, marked down mainly for strong age yellowing in her flocking glue with some areas more yellow than others.  This is normal for vintage flockies, as the glue always yellows as it ages.  Beyond that, she's sweet, with just slight wear to the flocking on her muzzle and one eartip.  She features deep black flocking (little to no sun fading), neatly done markings that match her original markings, and glass eyes.  She comes from the collection of Linda Dean.  Flockie notes:  Flockies are sensitive to both heat and pressure.  We will wrap and pack them as carefully as possible, but during transit there's always a chance that pressure marks may develop in the flocking, despite our efforts.  With your purchase, you agree that you understand that and won't hold us responsible if it occurs in shipment.  Also, we strongly recommend NOT having us ship when temps are above 75F between Maine and your location.  If you purchase her during the warm season, we recommend placing your order in our Hold Your Horses Program so that she stays here until temps are cooler for transport.
