Proud Arabian Stallion ~ Thee Desperado

Magnificent Egyptian Arabian stallion Thee Desperado was Unanimous Scottsdale Supreme Champion Stallion and US National Reserve Champion Stallion, but his greatest accomplishment was as a sire to champions.  Born in 1989, he produced champion straight Egyptian and Egyptian-cross foals for over two decades, and breeding continues (via frozen semen) even now.  Many Arabs showing today include him in their pedigrees.

Breyer honored Thee Desperado with this handsome portrait model in 2008.  He wears two socks and a very narrow stripe.  The model only ran for two years, and was retired in 2009.

This fellow is Near Mint with no rubs seen.  He's only marked down for what I think is slight factory masking residue in his socks, which over time has slightly darkened, making them look a bit dingy.  A good soapy bath or maybe gentle use of a Magic Eraser should brighten them back up.  He features a really gorgeous coat with soft highlights and shading in all the right places, pretty face shading and muzzle pinking in his stripe.
