This is a beautiful, high-quality piece for your collection. This heavy, silver plated horse head sits on a mirror-finish blade, made by Reed & Barton silversmiths. They were based in Taunton, Massachusetts from 1824-2015. It is stamped "Reed & Barton 274" on the underside of the blade. These are highly prized, and can sell for between $275 - $425!
It is Near Mint with slight tarnishing on the head. This piece would be a jewel in your collection or make a regal gift for a special equestrian.
