Collection: Resins

Resins, also known as Artist Resins, are usually small-batch, artisan-crafted models.  They are made from pouring resin into a mold made from an artist's original sculpture, and often possess more fine details than mass-produced models.  As such, they command high prices and usually do very well at model horse shows.  Painted by well-known artists, they can fetch prices in the thousands of dollars.

Breyer also occasionally produces resin models in their Gallery collection.  These can vary in size from their regular lines, but are given a lot of attention to detail, are heavier than plastic models, and are true collectors' items.
