Winsome Adante, known as "Dan," was one of the highest ranking three-day eventing horses in history.  He won Rolex Kentucky three times, Blenheim in England, and helped the US Equestrian Team win Gold at the 2002 World Equestrian Games, then went on to win individual Silver and Team Bronze at the 2004 Olympics, all with Kim Severson, his lifelong rider.  When he retired from eventing, he got to live a happy, well-loved life of luxury at his owners' Plain Dealing Farm, where Kim still stopped by every week with a peppermint treat for her friend.

The US Equestrian Team honored Dan with a Special Run portrait model whose sale benefitted USET in 2005.  The Cigar mold was modified to a gelding to better represent him, and each has a printed signature under his belly in gold of both his rider Kim and his owner Linda Wachtmeister.  Only 750 were made.

This fellow is Near Mint with just a tiny paint flaw on his left hind leg, where the paint touched something before it was fully dry, leaving a tiny bare spot with a tiny bump of paint above it. Other than that tiny spot, he's gorgeous, with rich coloring and bright whites.  He even comes with extras:  The USET announcement of his release, thank-you letter for purchasing him, and his box sticker.  These extras are things that were rarely kept, so having them will add great value to the horse.
