This is a really neat folk art piece, likely made in the 1970s or 1980s. It is approximately 1:12 scale (shown with a 1:12 scale Breyer model for reference). It is completely handcrafted from wood, metal and leather (possibly faux leather), with a linen wagon cover. The wheels do not turn (which is safer... No rolling off the table!). The front axle steers so it can be positioned as you like. The pole is made for a two-horse hitch and includes built-in eveners.
The most folk artsy thing of all, though, is that it appears the tools attached to the sides were fashioned from Coca Cola cans! The vintage can labeling can be seen on a couple of tools, which gives this a unique character and shows that it was handcrafted. It comes to us from the estate of a long-time adult collector, where it was displayed behind glass for years.
