This is one of the iconic Fighting Stallion's original release colors, and was only made from 1961-1966. He is airbrushed in soft grey with a darker mane, tail and lower legs, and Appy splatter spots. There is so much variation in this release that it's easy to collect several!
This fellow is in Excellent to Near Mint condition with just tiny eartip rubs and slight age yellowing. However, in this case, I'm also marking him down for an interesting factory flaw: He has some faint tan areas (one on his back, and a couple under his belly). They are under the gloss and look like fingerprints, so it seems his original painter left his or her "mark" on him accidentally. It's weird, but kind of a neat part of his production. He features tiny Appy spots, shaded eartips, soft muzzle pinking, and remnants of hoof and tail pads. He comes from the collection of Linda Dean and was shown in Region X as W-A-V Pity The Fool.
