Chris Hess's iconic Five Gaiter mold was made in this bold chestnut from 1963 to 1986.  He features a honey-colored body and a mane and tail so dark, he's nearly a bay.  He wears an airbrushed bald face, four socks, and white ribbons with red X's on them.

This fellow is Near Mint with a tiny rub inside his left knee, a pinpoint one inside his left hock, and pinpoint eartip and tail tip rubs.  He has a faint outline on his right neck where a blue ribbon sticker once resided.  He's got some speckles of tail paint on his body.  He features a lovely, light body color with dark, almost black, mane and tail, neatly painted ribbons, unglossed eyes, grey nostril shading, and whites that are almost as white as the day he was born!  He has no USA mark, so he's pre-1971.  He comes from the collection of Linda Dean and will come with a bonus flannel pony pouch.
