The Hackney breed is known as "The aristocrat of the show ring," with their high head carriage and high-stepping action. Bred to pull carriages for human aristocracy, their tails were often bobbed or cut short to keep them from getting tangled in their harnesses. Breyer's tribute to the Hackney, sculpted by Kitty Cantrell, was originally released as the aptly named "Aristocrat Champion Hackney." She was only produced in this original color from 1995-1996.
This lady is Factory Mint with overspray speckles in his socks as usual. He features pretty, dark shading. He comes with a paper ribbon he won for a former owner.
