The favorite mount of General Lee during the Civil War, Traveller became famous not only for his gorgeous coloring (he was said to be "Confederate Grey" with a black mane and tail), but also for his forward action, courage and stamina. Traveller was an American Saddlebred originally named Greenbrier and renamed Traveller (with two Ls) by General Lee.

Breyer produced a portrait model of Traveller for their Horses In History Series. He was made on the Man O' War mold, and only available in 1998-99.
This fellow is still attached in his original box. Box has had a couple strips of tape on the top that have left dried adhesive on the box top, and has minor wear common to its age, but it's solid and displays well.
Size: Traditional
