Pluto ~ The Spanish Riding School of Vienna's Lipizzaner on the Long Rein

One of the longest names ever bestowed upon a Breyer item, this beautiful display set lives up to the hype.  Great care was taken in every detail of the horse's tack and rider's costume.  Only 5000 were made, and production was limited to 2001.  This is truly a beautiful set and hard to find complete these days. 

This horse is Near Mint, with just mild age yellowing, which you can brighten back up with a few days of sunbathing, and a very tiny red mark on his right cheekbone from the bridle.  He is very tippy, and we had to use a prop for photos, so plan to use one for him.  He features "freckles" (little grey fleabites) on his muzzle, along with subtle face shading and muzzle pinking.  His tack is Factory Mint.  

His rider, attached to the horse by the long lines being sewn to his gloves, is Near Mint, as one sleeve and across his shoulders have faint speckly fading of the jacket material, probably from being on display in a sunny place.  He displays beautifully, with his uniform hat with gold insignia, riding boots that cover the knees, and even silver spurs strapped to them in a realistic manner.  

They even come with their original, unopened scroll-style COA, which appears to be numbered 2178 or 2179 / 5000, still factory rolled and tied with a gold ribbon.  Saddle blanket will be removed and bagged separately for travel, but bridle is designed to not be taken off, so it will remain on.
