One of the early colors for this mold, the mahogany bay was made from 1972-1980.  During that time, many variations appeared:  Different socks, body color hues, and finishes.  This makes them a lot of fun to collect.  They wear a dark bay body color with black lower legs that usually sport four socks over dark grey feet.

This mare is a very interesting variation!  She has completely opaque body paint, and yet, still manages to have highlights that go all the way to white.  We've never seen both on a single horse before, so she's certainly an attention-grabber!  That said, she has to be marked down for her condition, which I rate as Very Good to Excellent.  She has a scattering of tiny rubs and quite a lot of faint marks.  She may clean up with a good bath to be even better, but meanwhile, she's still a fascinating girl.  She wears a USA mark.
