Shetland Pony, Silver Dapple - JAH Special Edition Stablemate Gift Set

1998 was an exciting year for Breyer collectors, as it came with this introduction of a whole new set of twelve Stablemate molds - the first new ones since the scale was introduced in 1975.   Only 5000 sets were made, available only to "Just About Horses" magazine subscribers, and each set was numbered.  That set marked the debut of the Shetland Pony mold, and he wore a chocolate palomino / silver dapple coat for this release.  He's just about impossible to find nowadays.

He is in Excellent condition with a few pinpoint rubs and mild-to-moderate age yellowing, which you can reverse with a few days of sunbathing.  He features big, subtle dapples and a cute face with muzzle shading.
