The handsome bay Dutch Warmblood Royal Kaliber was a remarkable show jumper. He was a double medalist in the Pan Am games (Team Gold and Individual Silver) and earned the titles AGA Horse of the Year in 2002 and 2003 and U.S. Equestrian Horse of the Year for 2003. Kaliber was part of the US Olympic Team in 2004, and was chosen to have a portrait model made by Breyer.

The portrait model, with his rich coat color, three socks, unique star and narrow stripe, was only available to those who attended the US Equestrian Team's Festival of Champions event in 2004. Its sale helped raise money to fund the team's journey to the Olympics that year. Only 750 were made.
This fellow is Near Mint, marked down only for mild age yellowing, which you can correct with a few days of sunbathing. He features beautifully blended shading. He comes with his original base and even the box sticker from his original box.
