At Triple Mountain, we believe doing good is everyone's responsibility. Along with our programs to minimize our carbon footprint, we maintain a charity account here for Harvest Hills Animal Shelter, the single shelter that serves 19 towns in Western Maine.

Harvest Hills has placed around 17,000 cats and dogs since they opened 25 years ago! Per their website, they strive to serve animals in need, "reduce stress and suffering for every animal passing through our doors and provide individual attention, medical and custodial care to our charges. We also consider it an important part of our mission to educate the community, adults and children about the responsibilities of pet ownership and the benefits of adopting a Harvest Hills animal."
Our first sales for Harvest Hills came from a small box of body quality models which had been dropped off at their thrift shop in 2016. We sold through them pretty quickly, and then received additional donations from our awesome regular customer Shelley R., from British Columbia, Canada, which also sold quickly. With only one model left in the Harvest Hills account, we just received an amazing surprise: Virginia Kane of New York has donated 50 models for the shelter! There was not a dry eye in the house as we unwrapped the donations and photographed them. Virginia's incredible generosity will raise an estimated $600 for Harvest Hills!

If you'd like to help Harvest Hills in their mission to care for animals, but don't need any of these for your collection, we've had collectors purchase models and then donate them back to the shelter account. If you'd like to do that, simply enter DONATE in the discount box at checkout or email us when you order (we ship within 24 hours, so you'll want to email us as soon as you order).
If you're interested in donating models to be sold to benefit Harvest Hills, they can be dropped off at our store anytime or shipped to: Triple Mountain, 14 Nature's Way, Hiram, ME 04041. Please include a note stating that they are donations for Harvest Hills. We accept models of all brands, sizes, and conditions for the charity account.
