Anheuser Busch, recognizing the appeal of their famous Clydesdales, created a short series of resin sculptures in 1997. Each depicts an actual member(s) of the Budweiser Clydesdale herd. They were incredibly well-made, with great attention to detail, and each piece was hand-numbered under the base. This set depicts the Clydesdale stallion Jim with his Dalmatian friend Bud, both dressed in their finest parade wear, waiting to put on a show for the crowds.
This piece is Factory Mint with both molded-on and leather harnessing. He's a little dusty from being on display, but a beautiful fellow, as is his canine friend. It comes in its original box with shaped Styrofoam insert, brochure, and COA that's still factory wrapped. He is hand-numbered under his base as #6931. He comes from the collection of Linda Dean.
