Black Angus Bull
Black Angus Bull
Low stock: 7 left
Angus cattle, native to Scotland and built to survive the harsh winters there, have become a favored breed of beef cattle in the US. Considered a medium-sized bovine, they historically were always black, although in recent decades, a red-coated strain has emerged. They are genetically identical and are registered as one breed in Scotland, but are considered separate breeds in the US. No white is found on them, except occasionally on a cow's udder, though noses may be lighter in color than the body. Safari retired this fellow in 2014.
