This pretty pony is modern Chinese cloisonne. Cloisonne pieces are made of metal (usually brass or copper) with thin wires welded on to create designs. Enamel is then hand-painted into each segmented space, then the whole thing is fired in a kiln and then polished. Gold paint (sometimes real gold leaf) is often added for bright, metallic accents. The result is a beautiful, colorful, one-of-a-kind, hand-colored figurine.
He appears Near Mint with no damage seen. He features both floral and scrollwork designs, as well as dragon scales, all done with rope-style wires, which adds extra sparkle. He may have gold plating on his tail and hooves.
