The Family Arabians have had such a history!  This is one of the earliest releases, the grey Appaloosa Foal named Spot.  While Spot was made from 1960-1970 in different variations, this girl can be dated to 1962-1968.  This model is the glossy "belly band" version (indicating that instead of a blanket over his hips, her white area is around his belly) with ears that point straight up.

This cutie is Near Mint with a few tiny scratches on her right barrel and shoulder, but not as many as it appears on first glance.  She's a fascinating variation, who looks like her "belly stripe" marking was created at the factory by wiping off the grey paint, rather than simply not painting her barrel.  The evidence that this interesting marking was done at the factory is that her splatter spots are over the area, and not rubbed off.  She also is fully grey under her belly; they only wiped off around the top and sides.  Add to this that she has simply a ton of Appy spots, unpainted eye whites, heavy gloss mane, tail, and legs, and soft muzzle and inner ear pinking, and she's really neat!  No USA mark.
