The iconic Family Arabian Mare was made in matte palomino from 1967-1987. Over that period, many color and finish variations were created, making them a lot of fun to collect. She wears four socks over grey feet and an airbrushed bald face. This pretty girl is a basecoat chalky, made during the Oil Embargo years of the early 1970s, and a hard-to-find variation.
This lady is in Excellent condition with a light scattering of tiny rubs that show her basecoat and a tiny black bit in the plastic inside her right knee. She is a very pretty example of a basecoat chalky, with bright, painted whites and a speckly paint job. She also features grey nostril shading, muzzle pinking, and body-color eye whites. USA mark.
