Misty of Chincoteague went on tour following the publication of her book, and often greeted kids at schools and libraries by "shaking hands" while standing on her custom made stool.
This is the only Hagen Renaker / Breyer crossover that I know of. The beautiful ceramic Performing Misty was produced by Hagen Renaker of California as a special piece for Breyer in 1993. We don't know how many were made originally, but it was a short release and nearly impossible to acquire today. This is the first I've ever seen in person! I can see why they are so adored that people almost never put them up for sale.
She is Factory Mint and even still has her a detachable stool! Those got lost and broken so easily that the stool itself is very valuable. It will be wrapped separately for safe traveling, and they will be shipped in an oversized box with full insurance for added protection. If you don't act quickly, you may never find another to add to your collection.
