This handsome set is called El Caballo Peruano de Paso. Dressed to show off in his decorated Peruvian tack and accompanied by his rider in Native dress and carrying a champagne glass, the set depicts the famous demonstration showing how smooth the Peruvian Paso horses are. This was an expensive set when it came out, and finding them today is a challenge.
Horse is Near Mint with just one pinpoint eartip rub and one pinpoint rub on his left hock. His tack appears Factory Mint and the conchos on his bridle and reins are still factory wrapped with plastic to avoid scratching him. His saddle has a leather cover over the top, and between the layers there is supposed to be a blanket of black fur, but that's missing. It was basically a square of black faux fur like you'd find at any craft store, so it would be easy to make a replacement.
Rider is Near Mint, marked down only for some dusty patches on his white pants from display and age yellowing on his white hat. The set did not arrive here with its wine glass, but that's another thing that should be easily replaceable at a craft store. They do come with their original, scroll-style COA, still factory rolled and tied with a gold ribbon. His bit goes through is mouth, so the bridle is not intended to be removed. It will be left on, with plastic wrapped around the reins for added protection, and I've also made him a clear plastic "blanket" to protect him from his saddle and harness for his ride to you. Rider will be bagged separately, as will COA.
