Pinta Island Tortoise ~ Lonesome George
Pinta Island Tortoise ~ Lonesome George
Low stock: 4 left
Lonesome George is a legend and an icon of the animal world. Living on Pinta Island in the Galapagos, he was the very last known individual of his species. Estimated at over 100 years old, scientists named him Lonesome George. He became the face of conservation for the Galapagos and elsewhere, inspiring efforts to protect other species. So, although George passed away in 2012, he lives on through thousands of plants and animals he saved by representing the need for conservation. REBOR introduced this sculpt of Lonesome George in 2023. Won't you adopt him so he won't be lonesome anymore?
