Breyer's Proud Arabian Mare has always been a collector favorite, and the older dapple greys were cream of the crop. During 1982-1984, though, something magical happened: They gave her black points that made her a real standout! They are highly coveted today and rarely come up for sale. Even rarer are those that sport some halo dapples (dapples with a ring of tiny dapples or lighter area around them). While these appeared on a percentage of the stallions, the mares rarely are seen with halo dappling.
This lovely girl is in Very Good condition, strictly speaking, as she has some wear rubs on her high points and elsewhere. She was tippy, and someone has used epoxy underneath her right hind hoof to stabilize her. It's invisible on display. She is a very hard to find halo dapple mare, and is SO "halo'y," with big, bold dapples mixed with tiny ones. Even with her wear, she's one a lot of collectors would love to attain, so don't let her get away!
She comes from the collection of Linda Dean, who showed her as W-A-V Aura. She will come with one of Linda's soft flannel pony pouches as a bonus.
