This is a beautiful "faux OF" style custom by Honey (Hubbard) Gibbons to a woodgrain pattern. His woodgraining is nicely done and he wears a lightly sprayed satin finish that brings out his color, while emulating the look of age she was going for. His socks are lightly airbrushed, similar to those on the 1960s Woodgrain Fighting Stallion. He has a hand-painted stripe. He was painted and signed by Honey in May, 2015.
No damage was seen, and he displays beautifully. He comes from the collection of Linda Dean.
As with all customs, if you purchase him when it's hot between your location and ours in Maine, we recommend putting him into our Hold Your Horses Program™ until temps cool. Irreversible paint damage can occur when shipped while it's hot, and Triple Mountain is not responsible for heat damage in transit.
