This is a great set for collectors, but also for anyone just starting out in model horse showing. For the First Competitor release, Gem Twist wears a golden buckskin coat with four socks, shaded hooves, a star and a snip. Also included in the set are a leather & rope English bridle, hunt seat saddle and quilted saddle blanket. They were released at mid-year, 1996. Only 5000 sets were made, and each is hand-numbered under the belly.
This fellow is Near Mint with no rubs or marks seen! He's marked down only for slight age yellowing, and should brighten right back up if you sunbathe him for a few days. He features shaded coronet bands, neatly painted red, white and blue ribbons, and even comes with his original English saddle, quilted logo'd saddle pad, and bridle, still attached to cardboard box insert. Bridle is even still in factory cello. He is #1669/5000.
