"Riddle Passing Through Time" was a one-of-a-kind series for Breyer. It depicts an Appaloosa at three phases of his life, starting as a bay with a blanket and gradually roaning out as he matures. Only 3800 were made of each phase. They were available in 1995 only.
This fellow is still attached in his original box. The plastic box front has yellowed and become very brittle from age, so we slid it off to take better pictures of the horse for you. The top panel of the box has cracking and chipping, but it protects him well. Horse features whites as bright as the day he was born, stripey mane, and both chestnut and grey shading on his face. Original seller attached a clothing tag through the front of the box, so we're leaving it on as an odd bit of history.
