Running Stallion ~ Walter Farley's Flame, The Island Stallion

The Running Stallion is ruggedly handsome in this release representing the wild island stallion Flame in the book by the same name.  He is a solid red chestnut with no white with a glossy finish, and his shading is incredible.  He was only made from 2003-2006.  According to IDYB, 500 were made in gloss, and the rest were semigloss.

This fellow is certainly glossy!  Excellent condition with a lot of tiny rough spots in his gloss, along with a few dull spots and tiny light rubs (only through the shading).  That said, he's the most gorgeous of any we've seen, with rich, sooty shading over his back and barrel, as well as on his legs, face, mane and tail. Despite the finish issues, he displays well, as very few will be noticed on regular display.
