San Domingo has been used for a portrait of Black Gold more than once, but this is the earliest version, denoted by having tan hooves and no white markings. This fellow was a Special Run only sold through Montgomery Ward in 1985. Per IDYB, only "several hundred" were made, making him one of the hardest releases to find on this mold and a real treasure!
This fellow is Near Mint with only a couple of tiny hoof edge rubs keeping him from Mint. He features a satin finish and tan hooves.
