The Tennessee Walking Horse debuted in 1972 as a portrait of the famous stallion Midnight Sun. In this release he is done in a light dappled rose grey with chestnut points, a dark mane and tail, a low stripe and grey muzzle shading. He has dark red-on-white ribbons and hand-painted tri-color eyes. This was the Limited Edition for 1998, limited to 10,000 pieces.
This fellow is Near Mint with just a couple of tiny, faint marks and some specks of overspray. He is beautifully done, with bright whites, faint chestnut over-shading, and lots of dapples. He sports tri-colored eyes and muzzle pinking, and is hand-numbered 03165 / 10,000.
